Hey Girl Market’s journey began when Andreina was searching for artisans for a school project in Costa Rica. She wanted to connect local female makers with consumers around the world. What she discovered was that these women had dreams just like her, and were working hard everyday for better opportunities for themselves and their families.
Not surprisingly, this project became much more than a school assignment, it became a collaboration between many women who wanted to work hard for a greater purpose. Each handmade piece represents detail and delicacy and the hope for a better life. When you make a purchase of jewelry, accessories, or home goods in their new Casa collection, you’re helping Hey Girl Market provide jobs for local female designers in developing countries. Every purchase provides these opportunities to women workers in a safe and a loving environment.
