We recently got to shoot a few bags from our member Manos Zapotecas‘ spring / summer 2017 line, which is full of dusty pastels, inspired neutrals, and desert tones. Los Angeles made the perfect backdrop for showing off the colors and patterns in each of the bags, so we set up at a few different locations around town.
For this shoot, we wanted to show how the colors and textures of MZ bags blend seamlessly with many LA backdrops. With our many bright, vibrant walls and murals, a lot of photography in Los Angeles is about contrast. Instead, we gravitated toward backdrops inspired by the bags themselves, like beige, tan, grey, pale green, and terra cotta.
This one has a full length detachable strap for use as a crossbody. It’s perfect!
This cute purse fits at least three books, FYI.
The winter rains in LA gave way to a refreshing green throughout Griffith Park, so we were particularly excited about walking a few trails with the bags in tow.
