There is nothing like filling your home, no matter the size, with things you truly love and that have a story behind them. When it comes to our Los Angeles apartment, our biggest struggle is finding the bigger statement pieces. I’ve held off on some furniture and larger decor pieces for almost a year now, having a vision for how I want to fill the space but not yet coming across many things that fit that vision. (Good and bad to be picky, you know?) One of those areas waiting to be adorned was above our couch and end table (currently a stool!), that we’ve now filled with an amazing woven wall hanging thanks to our member The Dharma Door.
I really struggle with deciding on a single large piece for a wall, but the Jute Macrame Wall Hanging is 25″ high x 18″ wide which is perfect for displaying above a small table/seating area (and they have larger ones for those of you with more wall space to cover). Since just last week we shared a bit about our obsession with jute and sustainable basket weaving, I thought it was a good time to share what we’ve done with this piece. Plus, if you are considering investing in one of The Dharma Door’s macrame wall hangings, you’ll want to know your options for hanging.
